Stand up forklift experience is required, but attitude is WAY more important here. The shift is Mon - Fri, from 3:30pm to 12am. This is working in a cold environment, but all coat, gloves, hat, scarf, etc. is provided by the company. Upon hire, this company offers an awesome benefit package, including school supplies for your kids. Which says a lot about the company.
This job is Monday to Friday, with some weekend work that is voluntary if you want the OT. Most of the work is by yourself or with one other person, packaging and binding finished printed paper. It does smell like ink, and it gets warm in the summer on the production floor. Shorts and t-shirt is OK to wear though.
This is a temp-to-hire position, with great benefits and upward mobility upon hire. Work Tuesday to Friday from 5a to 3:30p and have a the rest of the day off. This is a recycling center, so it doesn’t always smell like roses. But the work keeps you busy, and it’s not physical or heavy. There is plenty of opportunity to talk and laugh with your co-workers, so it’s a lively work environment.
These are full time, long term positions with benefits, lunch provided and keep your tips. Some housekeeping is preferred, but not required. You need to keep up to a certain pace so that all the rooms can be cleaned, but it's a reasonable speed. The work is usually alone, or sharing a floor with one other person.
Food Production Line
This is a production position with a family owned, small company. Monday through Friday from 3:30pm to 12am, with an occasional Saturday during their summer busy season. Excellent benefits, streamlined work environment, friendly atmosphere, as well as advancement in duties and pay rate.
Loader and Delivery
This position is an awesome deal if you like being out, seeing the city all day. You and the driver will load a 26 foot box truck each morning, and then drive all over the Portland metro area delivering orders to construction sites. There is heavy lifting when loading and unloading, but also down time while riding in the truck.
